2014 - Texas Avid Outdoors Fall Expo2014 was our inaugural year. This is where the Texas Fall Outdoor Expo was born. We started with a 1 day event at a local community center in south Austin with an all encompassing expo that covered everything from hiking, camping, and boating to, of course, overland travel.
That first year we had 9 outfitted rigs and two overland specific vendors. We had close to 250 attendees at our first event using only social media and word of mouth advertising. Some of first vendors included Pronghorn, Yeti, and Cabelas. It was an auspicious start and the stage was set for future years of success! Who remembers this flyer? --> |
