About Oxford Ranch |
Our largest area is for primitive (tent) camping. There are tables and fire pits scattered at random throughout the campground. Sites are not designated, you choose where you want to camp. Lots of trees, perfect for hammock camping. (wood for sale, $1 a stick, you get the size you want) Included is a bath house with showers and rest rooms.
Our R.V. area includes 14 full hookup sites, and 14 electrical only sites. Full hookup are $30 a night limit 2 people. The electrical only sites are for any kind of camping. R.V. or tent, Price is $25 a night, limit up to 2 people. $8 per person per night over limit. Primitive (tent) is $8 per person per night. We do not take reservations, because we do not take credit cards. We accept cash or check. As you can see you do not need reservations for tent camping. Need an R.V. site, or electric, just give me a call. Some other very important information is our location. If you use Google maps, you may be misdirected. There is nothing more frustrating that getting lost. We are located right off of Hwy 16 South between Llano and Fredericksburg. Coming from Llano, we are 8 miles past the High School on the left. Coming from Fredericksburg, we are approximately 24 miles on the right. An important marker is the Enchanted Rock turnoff. We are approximately 8 miles from that turnoff on the right. Enchanted Rock is about 15 miles from us, all highway travel, so about a 15 minute drive. Oxford Ranch Campground is the ideal campground for any kind of campers. Plenty of room for kids to play. If you want quiet, you can choose a more remote location. Just remember we are simple and we want to keep it that way. Our lives are complicated enough, camping out here, you can leave that behind! We are also animal friendly. Fur babies on a leash and you are responsible for them, just like at home.
