2017 - Texas Avid Outdoors Fall Expo2017 found us a new home and a new concept! No longer where we an all encompassing outdoor event. We were now solely an overland event! Thanks to our friend Chris Devereaux of Texas Overland fame, we were introduced to Oxford Ranch in Llano Texas. Debbie and Herman welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like family. This Expo was fun in large part because we really didn't know what were doing in terms of putting on an overland event, but thanks in large part to Chris and the guys and gals from Texas Overland, we managed to pull it off. I will never forget that Saturday evening when the majority of events were done and everyone was relaxing, we all looked at each other, exhausted, and realized we had done it! Over the course of that weekend, we were approached by attendees and vendors alike thanking us for putting on the Expo. The thirst was there for an overland event and it was becoming very clear that Texas was a great place to have it! With a new location came more vendors, stretching farther and farther out into Texas. Folks, if you didn't know already, Texas is a great place for overland businesses.
